Who is the zodiac’s most self- contained person? Many would say Capricorn, the goat. Born in the very dead of winter, Capricorns have a spare, prudent, and preserving nature, that creates a sense of loneliness, ironically something that appeals to their nature.
Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac, represented by the goat.
Capricorns are ambitious and driven always seeking more success, power, money, and authority. Reliable, slow and steady, mathematical and precise, goats can do a great many jobs and do them well. Even such diverse and tough arenas as politics and agriculture appeal to them. A successful career is of such importance that they usually try to be in charge. He or she can just about do it all. It is said that work is to Capricorn what passion is to Scorpio and thinking is to Gemini.In spite of their drive to succeed, they are also very practical and down to earth people.
If their career is always more important than pleasure, does that make the goat a bit of a downer or a wet blanket? Some say yes; the goat is extremely serious, solid and profound, deep as the earth, layer upon layer. Capricorn represents the dormant spark embedded in still soil, waiting for spring to ignite its power.
Challenges are nothing to Capricorns.
At the top of the mountain? We’ll go on to the next one and the next one and so on; rest not while there is another challenge to surmount. Achievement and all of its allure can make Capricorn a bit single-minded and lonely, causing them to miss some glorious views in the journey up the hill.
Lonely? Too bad, because under the permafrost, Capricorn is just waiting to turn up the heat. The right deep and patient soul can warm them up and, once committed, Capricorns are said to make especially cherishing and considerate mates. A rock-solid individual, Capricorn is saved from utter grimness by their slightly off-the-wall sense of humor. The more they exercise it, the better for everyone. Capricorn wants to do a good job, one accomplished in a sensible and logical manner. These are people who can plan, and seemingly foresee, trends through the use of systematic approaches. They do not rely on gut feelings or intuitions, but rather on the observable, the known and the logical. Rational calculation characterizes their minds; they are not quick to know or grasp new concepts. The goat must trudge on, following a timetable from beginning to end. But he or she are durable souls who will eventually reach all their goals.
Capricorns = Ambitious.
Ambitious subjects will invariably hit the top of their profession, and Capricorns are found at the pinnacle of every professional arena. They are the most serious and steady of the movie stars, painters and writers of the zodiac, not to mention the doctors, scientists, mathematicians and administrators. However, Capricorns are also prepared to bide their time and wait for what they want. Despite their intense focus on their goals, they can be very witty. They are careful about making decisions, especially when it comes to money. They know how to make good investments as well as how to be good savers since they are driven by the need to accumulate wealth, which to Capricorn, means security. If you do a Capricorn a favor, they will repay as soon as possible since they do not wish to be beholding to anyone. They believe in themselves and their own abilities so much more than in other people, which explains why they will usually take over, believing that if something is going to happen, it is going to be because of their effort alone. Many do not like this trait in Capricorn; it can be difficult to set aside and see their other good qualities, but Capricorns are just being self-sufficient. They are great organizers and can of paying thorough attention to detail. While Capricorns are the most likely to marry for money or status in life, that doesn’t mean they will sit back and enjoy the ride. They will continue to be ambitious in their own right while also striving to be in control.
Capricorns are loners.
The downside of this drive and ambition is that of all the signs of the zodiac, Capricorns tend to be the loners. They may focus so much on their goals that they disregard everything else; family, friends, personal well-being may be left on the sidelines. Their know it-all-attitude often turns others off.
What is Capricorn’s secret? Well, certainly it’s the time of birth: deepest winter, the time when the earth is fully dormant with a long wait for the spark of spring.
